Ever since I was a child, I have loved to travel! I still feel a thrill when getting on an airplane headed for a new destination, knowing that I’m going to have an adventure. So how lucky am I to be able to travel for work by going to visit universities abroad as well as throughout the United States?

In fact, over the last ten years, I’ve visited almost 100 universities abroad to learn more about them so that I can help students find an option that will be a great fit for their needs and wants.

Therefore, when I had the chance to return to Madrid and Barcelona for the 2nd IECA International Symposium this February, I could not wait to go back to Spain. While there, I saw a wide variety of options of universities that offer degrees to English-speakers that are entirely taught in the English language. From American universities (St. Louis University-Madrid) to private universities like IE University and ESADE, to Spanish public universities, there are many options that offer a wide variety of programs and even partnerships with universities in the US and other parts of the world.

Benefits of Studying in Europe

Studying in Europe allows students to experience the history, charm, and culture of the “old world” while also engaging in some of the most cutting edge, modern approaches to education that exist.

Another significant advantage to studying abroad is the cost – on average a university can be anywhere from 10% to 50% less than the cost of an American University, even when including tuition, room, board, and books. Travel expenses are also sometimes a part of the curriculum, but students often take advantage of additional opportunities to explore on their own.

If you are interested in studying in Spain – or other European destinations – I encourage you to get in touch. I can’t wait to tell you more about the opportunities that await you!
